johnsonl.jpgGREETINGS! Welcome to the NDDAA Website!

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer months and able to take some time for a little rest and relaxation.

Our annual session is in fabulous Minot this year, September 17-18, 2010. Tyler has lined up a variety of speakers to provide you with continuing education credits.  Please review the schedule of events for your educational and fellowship opportunities. Robyn has been busy keeping the website updated to better serve your needs.

The ADAA Annual Session is October 7-10, 2010 in Orlando, Florida. This annual session will be an exciting event for our district as Natalie Kaweckyj will become the ADAA President.  Natalie has been in attendance at the ND annual sessions as a presenter and due to her years serving as 7th district trustee. Please share best wishes as Natalie continues her journey of commitment to our association.

My term as president is passing very quickly. I am very proud to serve the board in this capacity and appreciate the opportunity.  I am grateful for wonderful NDDAA board members; their hard work and dedication to this association is beyond words.  It takes a committed team to reach our goals; I appreciate all that you have done. Thank you to all our members and the support which is provided on a continuous basis. Tyler Winter will be going into his presidency during our annual session; he has a wealth of knowledge and will lead our association in a positive direction.

Best wishes for happiness always and we look forward to seeing you at upcoming educational events.  Have a great summer and take care.

Dental Assistants- Who Are We and What Does It Mean To You

If you are a dental assistant, work in the state of North Dakota, and do expanded functions, you must be registered with the North Dakota Board of Dental Examiners. If you are a certified dental assistant, by Dental Assisting National Board, you must be registered of the ND board of dental examiners.

Like many of you, dental assistants in our state have worked long and hard to achieve the credential of a certified dental assistant. A registered dental assistant holds a certificate of registration that has been issued by the ND board of dental examiners.

The ADAA Statement of Professional Commitment

"As a professional dental assistant, I will promote the advancement of the careers of dental assistants and the dental assisting profession in matters of education, legislation credentialing and professional activities which enhance the delivery of quality dental health care to the public."
