Full Time Dental Assistant Opening

 

Immediate opening in General Dental Office located in Bismarck. We are a very fast paced office with1 doctor, 2 full time hygienists, 2 clinical assistants, 2 front desk assistants and an office manager. Dr. Kapla has been in practice since 1976 in Bismarck and we are transitioning a new dentist into this practice within the next few years, which we are real excited about. This is a long termed position, with a friendly team approach to patient care. Our facility is very pleasant and newly updated and state-of-the-art, we are in process of becoming paperless. We are digital and our assistant work independently as well as chairside with the doctor. They use their skills to the fullest and while their work is challenging, Dr. Kapla is patient and assistants have said they have enjoyed working for and have learned very much while working with him. We have a wonderful staff to work with and terrific patients. Hours are Mon.-thru-Thurs. 7:45 am thru 5 pm and some Friday AMs if needed.

( About 32-36- Hrs per week) Competitive Salary, benefits included health ins., free and reduced dental care, paid holidays, paid vacation, Cont Ed, 401 K (we match 3%) we provide and launder uniforms. Dental Assisting Program Assisting Coordinator

 

 

We are looking for a Dental Assisting Program Coordinator for our Bismarck Campus.  Here is our job description:

 

Rasmussen College is currently looking for a Dental Assist Coordinator/Instructor for our Bismarck Campus. This position is responsible for practicing excellence in teaching and instruction, demonstrating evidence of professional growth and academic currency, carrying out the responsibilities specific to his/her program, contributing to the College Community by participation in service activities, and contributing to the local community by participation in service activities.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

§  Develop and maintain course materials.

§  Keep syllabi current and in compliance with college and industry requirements.

§  Assist in the development of sound knowledge, and implementation of tests, examinations, and other forms of learning measurement appropriate to the course or field.

§  Program Coordination and maintenance/achieving and maintaining accreditation.

§  Assist in hiring and training qualified faculty members for the Dental Assistant program, as requested by Dean of Faculty.

 

Key Qualifications:

 

§  Bachelors Degree required.  Must either be completed or currently enrolled in a program, Master’s preferred

§  Must be a dental assistant or state licensed dentist with occupational experience in the application of fourhanded dentistry principles, either as a dental assistant or working with a chair-side assistant.

§  2-5 years teaching experience preferred
